If you or your child is interested in taking piano/keyboard, guitar, or if your child is in need of academic tutoring, I would really like to be your instructor! You have the option of my traveling to your home, or you are welcome to my home studio, conveniently located in Anaheim.
To tell you a little about myself, I was raised in a musical family introduced to music at a very young age. I took piano, organ, guitar, glockenspiel, and voice lessons for many years, and participated in music recitals.
I enjoyed singing, and with my music theory background, participated in vocal/piano recitals, involved myself in every school musical, joined every choir, participated in out-of-state voice sight reading competitions, and ultimately joined the New York All State Choir.
After graduating from school, I focused on teaching children how to read sheet music and play the piano and guitar within parochial schools, public elementary schools, private in-home lessons, and instructed adults for the Continuing Education Music Programs located within Rockland County, New York and Orange County, California.
Regarding my experience as an academic tutor, I currently tutor students through the No Child Left Behind Program, private tutoring for Special Education students, and home schooled my child through the Anaheim Independent Study Program from 9th grade through her successful 12th grade graduation. I am very familiar with elementary and high school grade multiple subjects, the online technology for education, and the study/assignment criteria. This is a wonderful tool to enhance students Grade Average, SAT and Exit Exam Scores.
In understanding the value of tutoring a child that is exhibiting difficulty in a subject matter, the evidence shows a significant increase in student aptitude when placed with a tutor.
